Sports activities for young people
Community Recreation Officer, Glenn Swindell, organises sports activities for young people in the Huddersfield North area which includes Greenhead Park.

Weekly 5k runs
Parkrun is a national organisation that organises free weekly 5k timed runs in local parks. Greenhead Park is now one of their venues and anyone is welcome to join in. To get up and running, you just need to register with parkrun.
Parkrun is entirely run by volunteers and they are always looking for new people to help. Full details of what’s involved are included on the parkrun website.
