As well as the regular weekly activities, there’s a variety of other events and attractions which vary from month to month. Events are free (unless otherwise specified) and all are welcome to join in. Outdoor events are weather permitting.

Saturday 3 February

12.30pm – 2pm Get creative in the park with the Greenhead Park Art Club for kids. It runs once a month at the weekend during termtime with occasional weekday sessions during school holidays. Join artist Kim Searle to have a go at imaginative art activities inspired by nature in Greenhead Park’s Community Room. Create colourful, playful and original art works to take home. Explore new materials and learn new skills. Pick up ideas to try at home. Get creative and have fun! Activities are suitable for children 5 – 12 years. Please note that children must be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited so you need to book in advance via the Greenhead Park Art Club’s Facebook page or e-mail kimsearlecrafts@gmail.com. Cost: £5 per child – payable on the day.

7pm Friends of Greenhead Park committee meeting in the Greenhead Park pavilion.

Wednesday 28 February

6pm – 9pm Ladies Night in the Greenhead Park Conservatory. Have a night out with the girls – and help raise money for the Friends of Greenhead Park! Entry is free and shopping is the highlight of the night with local vendors showcasing everything from jewellery to home decor, to health & beauty and fashion. There’ll be a fully licenced bar and delicious sweet treats to enjoy – and you could win one of many fantastic prizes in a raffle on the night with all proceeds going to the Friends.
