As well as the regular weekly activities, there’s a variety of other events and attractions which vary from month to month. Outdoor events are weather permitting. Please note that some events need to be booked in advance.

Monday 1 August

10am – 12noon Little Bikers classes for 2-4 year olds & 4-6 year olds on the lower field near the kiosk. All equipment provided including bikes and helmets. Cost: £6.50 for a 45min session (discounts available if you book 3 or 6 classes). Book here to ensure a place.

10am – 11am Pram-friendly walk in the park organised by Parent Sanctuary, a group whose aim is to improve the physical and mental health of children and their parents. Free, but booking is required.

Tuesday 2 August

1.30pm – 3.30pm Little Bikers classes for 2-4 year olds & 4-6 year olds on the lower field near the kiosk. All equipment provided including bikes and helmets. Saturday 6 August

8.15am – 8.45am & 9.45am – 10.15am Free yoga sessions at the bandstand brought to you by Peaceful Remedies and Connect Yoga & Wellness. Bring a mat if you have one and wear loose clothing and layers. 11.15am – 12.15pm Launch of Pyjama Drama‘s monthly theatre club for 3-7 year olds in the Greenhead Park community room (in the cafe building opposite the tennis courts). 10.30am – 5.30pm Inflatable Adventure World on the main field. Cost: £9.99 for 2 hour session (£4.99 for under 3s), plus booking fee. Sessions are 10.30am – 12.30pm; 1pm – 3pm; 3.30pm – 5pm.

Saturday 20 August

Sunday 21 August

2pm – 4pm  The ever-popular Hade Edge Band are back on the Greenhead Park bandstand! Don’t miss this finale to Sounds of Summer 2022 programme of concerts on the bandstand organised by the Friends of Greenhead Park. Limited seating is available and you are welcome to bring your own folding chairs or rugs.  It’s free but a bucket collection for the Friends of Greenhead Park will be taken during the performance.

Wednesday 31 August

10am – 12 noon  Informal Ukulele session in the Greenhead Park community room (in the cafe building opposite the tennis courts).  Visitors are welcome to come in and listen – or join in if you have a ukulele!
